Roger Phillips, MD - Medical Director

Dr. Phillips has practiced internal medicine in Holland since 1986. Prior to that, he attended medical school at Michigan State University, and completed Internal Medicine residency at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.  He was Chief of Staff at Holland Community Hospital during 1997-98. In January 2001, he assumed the role of Hospice of Holland Medical Director.

In 2005, he passed a certification examination and is now board-certified in the specialty of Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine.  He is on staff at Holland Hospital and Zeeland Community Hospital. 

Roger and his wife Barbara have three adult children, Jonathan, Joel, and Aren. Roger enjoys photography, sailing, travel and camping in Northern Michigan.  He and Barbara attend Fourteenth Street Christian Reformed Church.
